OK.....Maybe this will be the next RED " Holy Grail ".....BUT....

The all important question.....WHAT IS THE EMITTER SIZE....of the M156G84 !!!
Can we hammer it into a decent divergence ????

Who has connections ??? Who can get one to test ????

And...This better not be the 4K cost of the initial 445's !!!

Very Interesting !!! At LAST....a new Red to putz with !!!

Bob

OH.....AND. " ADMIN...AKA Mr.Haden "..What about a "Laser Lumia" section ??????

I got some Lumia projects going on now...and in the future that....are...well....
just EPIC !!! :P :P

mmmm Divergence with G2 for G84 is really bad..about 15mrad or worse, while P73 is about 9,5mrad...I'll stick with P73 combined

Too bad...Stink'in Laws of Physics/Optics !!! Conguate Phase CANNOT be made smaller than the original point emitter size..." Oh what a World...a cruel , cruel World "...for...by the grace of GOD...we were able to tame the P73 and 63193 LD...maybe not so with the 562G84 !!!

Don't the boys in white lab coats know what we want and need.... for less than 75 EUR a pop !!!
As " Roy" said to "Dr. Terrell"...." I want more Photons...Pucker " hahahahaha  Well...he kinda said that !!! :D

I'd love a 2.5 watt laser diode. The thing about these though, is that the wavelength is generally not that great for burning. If we could get one with similar divergence to the 3 watt 445 diodes we have now, I'd be satisfied. A g7 might tame it down.

Whoooaaa....Wait a second....is THIS that LD with a double output ??????? !!!!!! Yikes !!! .... If so.... A " Double Wide Load "....If so....well...likely NO " new Holy Grail here !!!....WAY beyond me as to methods of correction !!!
